For this particular search, I am specifically looking to write with a male partner who writes male characters.
Most of my roleplay history has been with female writing partners, and while I have loved those experiences, I’m interested in exploring a different dynamic: writing as a female character, as a female writer, opposite a male writer playing a male character. I’m curious about the energy, perspective, chemistry, and character tension that might bring to the story.
This is not meant as a slight toward female writers or anyone I have written with before. I’m simply looking for something specific this time around.
I’m most interested in long-term, character-driven stories with slow-burn romance, adult themes, emotional intensity, power dynamics, danger, loyalty conflicts, and real plot consequences. I prefer third person, past tense, and I value OOC communication, plotting, consistency, and mutual respect for character ownership.
I am looking for someone who writes male characters as their primary preference and enjoys building romance through tension, chemistry, conflict, vulnerability, and earned trust rather than instant devotion.
