I am generally flexible and willing to try anything new at least once before it gets put on a shelf and forgotten. However, there are some things that I will absolutely not do and some things that I look forward to doing. As much as "plot discussion" is relevant and necessary, I actually prefer to be surprised as long as certain things are talked about before hand such as sexual or violent scenes and believe this is called or referred to as "off the cuff". I will not write about incest nor will I create a character that is under the age of 21.
I have a tendency to research time eras that I know I will be involved in because it enables me to get a better feel of the time -- mode of dress or fashion -- transportation -- what, if any events, were taking place -- as well as foods consumed; education; politics and the like.
I’m a sucker for details be it from taking a long stroll in the park or forest to being touched intimately by an absolute stranger on a sub-way or in a bar … or wherever the story goes. There have been one or two occasions where I felt something I had posted was seriously lacking in which case I would send my partner a note, state that the my last post was lacking, and to please allow me to improve. I try to strive for that in the first post, however I don’t always make the mark.
I try to make sure any and all misspelled words, grammar, punctuation are corrected prior to posting. Sometimes I miss and sometimes I don't --- like that candy bar -- sometimes you feel like a nut (Almond Joy) and sometimes you don't (Mounds)!
You'll discover that I am very laid back and easy to get along with and have a good sense of humor. I love comedy in my stories; surprises; the unexpected. Throw me twists and turns but please, don't give me one-liners!!
