I realized a mistake was made with our prefixes in our Fandom section.
Because the fandom page may ONLY show Fandoms (not any other pairings that are not fandom), we have removed the majority of genre prefixes from the section. This is to help lower confusion of what will be inside it when it pops up on the front page. It is to ensure people know it is a Fandon-Only thread in the Fandom-Only forum.
We will keep the NSFW Prefix, along with the sexuality prefixes, Literacy Level Prefixes, Gender x Gender Prefixes and whether or not the thread is opened or closed.
"What if I want it to show it will be a action fandom though?" I can already hear a certain someone saying (you know who you are...), and to that I say...you can state so in the thread itself like many others do who are not big into using prefixes. More so, if someone offers to do a fandom, it's likely they know it and what it entails (example: Naruto tends to include action/adventure and Slice-of-Life animes tend to still be slice of life).
We are choosing to go this route to help people avoid confusion when clicking into a thread from the main page or if they accidentally click into the fandom section. More people seem to dislike fandoms than like fandoms, so we want to ensure no one wastes their time reading through a thread to find only fandoms (this is the same reason we ensure fandom-only threads are kept in the correct forum and fandom-heavy threads (where they outweigh originals) are split in two and the fandoms go to their correct station).
This helps both the seeker and the finder in the end.
