Due to a recent finding, we must address this concern directly with all users as best we can.
It should be noted that we believe that 99% of our users are respectful of our rules, especially when it comes to banned content.
Sadly, there will always be those who try to skirt the rules or blatantly ignore them.
As you know, Writing Home is very forgiving and understanding of mistakes, forgetfulness, and even ignorance.
We are not, however, forgiving of those who blatantly try to skirt around our rules.
With that said, I wish to remind all users that any REQUEST or ACCEPTANCE to roleplay banned content (pedophilia, incest, bestiality, etc) is against our rules.
This includes any discussion on Writing Home such as:
* Going into PMs to discuss and then going off-site to roleplay it.
* Asking someone to discuss off-site to then request the banned content.
* Any form of skirting around the rules while clearly breaking them.
Any REQUEST or ACCEPTANCE of banned content will have you removed, regardless of 'where' you roleplayed it or 'where' you discussed it. If you found your partner on Writing Home and are attempting to roleplay banned content with them, that is against the rules.
If you request it, you will be banned.
If you accept the request, you will be banned.
To keep Writing Home safe, if you receive any messages or requests that blatantly disregard the rules of Writing Home, report it.
If you get a message and you believe they are hinting at roleplays that break the rules, report it.
We will look into any and all reports. We will keep your identity a secret when dealing with the reports as well.
If the report has no outcome, you will not be in trouble. We rather people report something suspicious that is innocent than someone not reporting something that could be far from innocent.
Help us keep Writing Home a safe and fun place for all.
Be mindful and aware of our rules and report those who are breaking them.
