Vidette's life was destroyed on that faithful day when Perfect Chaos laid ruins to the city of Station Square. She lost her entire family and friends, coming out as the only survivor. She is rescued by Sonic the hedgehog himself, as he is helping with the rescue effort. They became friends afterwards, but knowing that the man responsible is still at large, she wanted vengeance against Dr Robotnik. She witnessed Sonic go on a downward spiral, having nightmares of his failure to stop Chaos, and is searching for the man as well. He manage to find Eggman's base, and of course, the mad scientist has all of the Chaos Emeralds and so they group infiltrated the base to stop him. They fought him, and his machine malfunctions until it explodes. Vidette was injured, but she witnessed Sonic holding a brand new gem, and killed Robotnik before passing out.
The girl is avenged, but it comes at a cost of her friend's descent. This new gem is the amalgamation of the 7 emeralds, corrupting Sonic the more he had it. Tails discovered that Eggman created a machine that displays events of other worlds. Because of this, it has prevented oncoming events in the future. Sonic used the power of them gem to do so, but he becomes obsessed with it, and decided on a plan. He asks Tails to modify the machine so they can travel to other worlds. He would target the Eggman of that world to fix it after seeing that many atrocities in that world, but Vidette opposed of this. She saw that it has gone too far, and hatched a plan to steal the gem then destroy it. Knuckles agree to the plan since it has disrupt the Master Emerald after is creation and seeing Sonic's behavior. The Chaotix and Amy joins as well, and they manage to steal the gem and use the power of the Master Emerald to destroy it. Unfortunately, Sonic found them, shattering the emerald before they escaped once again.
Vidette accidentally fused with the gem, but was taken to have it extracted before she was rescued by he Chaotix and Knuckles. They were chased and she has no other choice but to use the machine to travel to the parallel earth they have been observing for a year to gain help from the Sonic from that world. This comes after her friend's sacrifice to let her escape, but would not let it go to waste.

Brendan is born to Muggle-Born parents, living in Northern Ireland during a very turbulent time in the Wizarding World. Most of the British Isle was being terrorized by the reign of the return of Voldemort. His relative were living in Britain at the time, and because of their Muggle-Born status were one of the many victims that suffered at the hands of the Dark Wizard's regime. The only survivor was his older cousin and a Great Uncle who protected her. After the war was over, things are returned to normal somewhat, and the cousin was adopted into the family. Brendan grew up in both worlds before receiving his Hogwarts letter, and as tradition, went to the famous school to start his education.
