I found Writing Home during a Google search for RPs and thought I would say hello. Roleplaying has been a part of my life for many years, whether it's a tabletop game, video game, or printed word. Back in my DnD days, I played only male characters. However, I switched to female characters after failing to create a halfway decent-looking guy in Bethesda's Daggerfall (my dude looked like a cross between He-Man and a potato). At first, it was the aesthetics, but now it's… a story for another time. Anyway, that's why I mostly play female characters.
While I love and support the Strong Female Character ™, nowadays, I tend to gravitate to more complicated characters. A wife who has fallen so out of love that she hooks up with a psychopath and is okay with it. "Eh, so what if he's an axe murderer? At least he doesn't snore." (I strive to include humor in my writing as much as possible, though that was pathetic).
Anyway, here are the stats. I have 10+ years of RP experience and am currently the GM of a chat-based SFW RP that has lasted for nearly ten years. My favorite genres are Sci-Fi, Horror, Fantasy, Noir, and Post-Apocalyptic. (My tastes do run toward the darker side of things). Pairing favs are MxF, FxF, and MxM, and they are usually submissive. However, I will play dominant male or female characters with another female character.
