Hello everyone, how do you do?
I'm Hekazu, an individual with plenty enough characters written on to the screen that I would go ahead and call myself experienced. I've been around a few sites before, seen one fall and rise again, and now lurked around these parts to see the first few threads springing forth from the soil. Two people around here were invited by yours truly, and managed to register before them. A kind of motivation that too, I suppose. Well done friends! You put me to rightful shame.
My general trend of writing is that I go for plot in everything I do. I've given a fair shot to stories composed of scenes that do not head towards some sort of conclusion but exist in a void for the reason of seeing those scenes unfold, and while you won't find me telling anyone not to do that, I've determined that's just not the way I enjoy doing things. I'm no stranger to the steamier side of writing either, but approaching me with solely that in mind will have you disappointed as I push the forty seventh page of "background" at you. All right, I perhaps exaggerate. But that particular case did happen in the past. Yet as one might be able to tell from that description, I do enjoy writing a fair bit of detail in scenes. Dipping below two paragraphs a post is a heart wrenching tragedy and has me feeling like a failure. Two isn't the most common of things either. But that stuff's more for the request threads, isn't it?
In general, I'm someone to try and escape the dull everyday in writing. This has led to the creation of my little menagerie, a vast selection of non-human characters that eagerly await their time in the spotlight. If only I ever had time to play them all… One can dream, cannot they?
I look forward to seeing how things develop from here. My tabletop system enjoying self has already begun working on something that's coming to a thread near you soon!
